Chinese white tea from Yunnan province. The name translates as "White Moonlight".

Yue Guan Bai is made from raw materials from the tea bushes of the Jingu Da Bai Cha or Jinggu Big White Tea variety. The unusual black and white color of tea is associated with the characteristics of this cultivar. The main difference between Moonlight and famous Fujian white teas is that it is withered and dried not in the sun, but indoors.

Aroma: dense and slightly sweet with notes of peaches and heather honey.

Taste: soft, sweet, without astringency and bitterness. Fresh with a slight acidity, enveloping aftertaste.

Impact: gives soft tone and inspiration.

Production: spring 2022. White tea, especially those containing whole large leaves, tastes better when it has been aged for six months to a year after production. During this time, tea gains softness and sweetness in taste. The imbalance and bitterness inherent in young Yunnan teas are gone.
